Can Kittens take a bath?

I don't know how old they are, but I'm assuming around 6 weeks. Can I give them a warm water bath? No soap, just water?? They are coated in pee and poop cuz I took them from a neighbor that wasn't caring for them properly. They were in a rubbermaid container with THE LID ON!!

  • Yes, you can give them a bath! Just watch out for the claws, cats don't really care for baths so I suggest you put something on your hands and arms to avoid the claws. I would think maybe you could use some tear free baby shampoo on them, too. Get some other opinions on that though.

  • Yes, and it may help to put a wash cloth over there heads. We did this with my cat when she was a kitten and it really calmed her.
