  • For retaining water you need to make sure you are drinking enough water. I hope that helps. You need more water when you are pregnant.

  • Hmmm...it sounds like maybe you just overdid it. Is it hot where you live? Heat always made me uncomfortable. Also, are you showing yet? If you are, are you in maternity clothes? Try putting on something lightweight and loose and then put your feet up. If you're warm, try sitting by the air conditioner or with a fan. Put a cool cloth on your forehead. These might help. And talk to your MD again if it doesn't get better just to make sure that there is nothing medical going on.

  • Try to limit your salt and sugar intake and stay indoors if you can. Only go out either in the mornings or in the evenings b/c heat is worse between those two. Keep your feet up and don't eat anything that'll make you bloated.

  • cut back on salt and sugar just like other posts said. i would keep pressing your doctor to check for things. if you think it might be something serious, go to webmd.com and type in your symptoms and things, maybe that can give you an idea. good luck and i hope you feel better =]

  • Put lemon in your water, and drink lots of it. Lemon is a natural diuretic and helps your body to flush the water out. Keep it up for at least a week. :-)
