Is there a dish you just can't seem to master?? I try & try to make my mothers Italian meatballs & they are always hard

I think I put to many eggs ugg!!

  • Don't laugh too hard, but I can't make jello. My mom and sister have both watched me mix it up and it never jells. When I want jello I have to spend a fortune on the little packs.

  • Artichoke Dip. As for the meatballs, you could be using too much breadcrumbs or cooking them for too long.

    Oh, I also can't make an omelete.

  • Yeah you might be mixing the meat too much and cooking them too long.

    I can't seem to master enchilada sauce. I mean they taste good but NOTHING like my mom's. :]

  • I would like to fry chicken like my Mom and Dad did... I haven't made it in years because I can't seem to get it right... Oh well, it's fattening anyway so maybe that's why...

  • Add a little milk and really mash them between your fingers! Mine are always so tender.
