Carseat law in FL

What is the age/weight thing for children regarding carseats/boosters in FL? We are going to Orlando soon. The FL DMV website wasn't very helpful. Ours will be 6. Will we need to bring a booster or not?

This should help. But be aware, there are a LOT of older people in Florida and a LOT of accidents. It's nuts to try to drive here. Orlando is awful for red light and stop sign runners. Plus, if you are renting a car, you won't know how your child fits in that cars seats. I'd bring it to be safe.

  • Well, your child should be in a booster regardless of the state he is in.
