  • Sometimes I think the government should mandate how many kids we have here... Is it really necessary to have 14 kids on child support???

  • The sad thing in China, boys are more favorable for babies, and that's why so many girls are adopted out.

  • Is it up for debate that it is indeed a mandate? You asked if they mandated it, not if they should. Not sure if that's what you meant.

  • Read about it, the law has become much more relaxed and the families are fined, they don't enforce it like they used to. More wealthy people are having more than one child because they can afford the fines.. There is quite a bit of information on the internet about it, why would you ask a question that you could just easily look up and answer for yourself?

  • No I don't believe that the government would enforce such thing. It's against human rights. No...not even in Cuba...

  • they are getting more lax on it because as their population ages there are less youngsters to take care of the elderly. Even if they have two kids per family they are only replacing themselves.
