A little help please...

I was wondering if I ice my nipples before breastfeeding will if cause the milk to be colder for baby during the heat??? I live in TX and it is already hot here!!!

  • Ummmm...No. And if you swallow chocolate powder and jump up and down you will not make chocolate milk either.

  • omg, if this is a real question, i'm sorry OP, although the above comments are a little funny, i hope you don't feel taken back by them.

    anway, no, it won't. babies need their milk warm (or lukewarm) if you'd like, maybe you can pump it out, and then give it to them lukewarm. if not, then make sure your baby isn't exposed to too much heat a couple hours after eating, so not to mess the his stomach up. i hope this helps.
