  • Probably not. Hopefully someone else is more helpful.

  • Yes and no. Yes because unless you're tracking your cycle and know for sure you have already ovulated, it's possible that ovulation was delayed and you were actually ovulating when you thought you should be getting your period. No because if you really are 2 days away from your period the egg that you ovulated has already died and the chances of becoming pregnant are slim to none.

But unless you''re sure you ovulated, until you do get your period, it's a possibility.

    Good luck either way!

  • 2 days before your period you could find out you were pregnant from the current far as ovulating 2 days before your next cycle...that would be a severe luteal phase defect.... so i would say no
most people have a luteal phase between 12-14 days...mine is 11-12 anything less than 10 is considered LPD

  • Yes! You can even (in rare instances) get pregnant during your period.

  • It's possible to get pregnant at any time during your cycle. The chances decreasae the further along in your cycle you are and the best time to attempt to get pregnant is right around the time you are ovulating.

  • You can get pregnant any time.. even during your period.

Answer by Anonymous at 10:22 AM on Apr. 25, 2009

  • That's not true, Anon 9:22 am and Anon 7:16am
You can only get pregnant when an egg is present, and an egg is not present during your period. PLEASE, people, learn about your bodies! You are only fertile for about 24 hours a month. Read the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler.
