Is two too early to start preschool?

  • I've never heard of a preschool program for a two year old. The only thing around here for 2 year olds is daycare.

    But...even though mine have started at about three, I'd have to draw the line at 2. Unless there is a reason you want/need him to be in daycare...I just don't see the point at that age....

  • Formal preschool, yes. Most formal preschools require that they be potty trained anyway. However, you could look into a mother's day out program or part time daycare if you are interested in a preschool type routine.
