How do I child proof electrical cords?

I'm starting to child proof my home to get ready for a home study. I have cabinet locks, doorknob and outlet covers, but I'm not sure how best to protect electrical cords and outlets that are actually being used.

  • ummmmmm damn i forget what they are called but they are like.... rubber things put over cords so that you dont trip over them.... i hope someone will help me out with the name lol

  • babies r us has them search their website. They are little boxes that go over the entire outlet i think they screw into the wall..I still need to get some cause my 15 month old loves to use his motorskills (putting things in fitting holes)
