In at least two of the highly watched campaign debates between Obama and McCain, as well as at rallies all over the US, we heard Obama PROMISE "for every dollar of new spending, there would
be a spending cut somewhere else..." (dollar for dollar).
So far that hasn't happened (except in cutting the military budget--which is something we CANNOT afford to do).
However, don't you think the following ABC Investigative Report "Your Money," regarding the John Murtha AIRPORT in Pennsylvania, which has received over 150 MILLION dollars, over the past decade, INCLUDING over $800,000 STIMULUS dollars (to make NEW improvements!), to operate THREE flights daily, with an average of TWENTY people per flight with a SOLE destination of WASHINGTON, D.C., would have been a great place to start?!
Once again, this is an ABC NEWS investigative report for all of you
"anti-YouTubers" out there!

He didn't cut the military budget. Department of Defense did . Both sides liked the cuts what Sec.of Def.Gates made. Every department must cut back. I know many department did. But you will never post anything positive about our current President or his cabinet.

You seem to forget that former President NEVER didn't but the war spending to the budget. Your argument about Obama supporters is getting old.

Ummm Askmio....he did know the situation he was getting into WHILE he was campaigning. He didn't say "I will do this tax cuts AFTER I get the Bush/Chaney situation worked out"
Ya'll are giving him a pass on ALL his promises b/c he is supposedly cleaning up what Bush did (never mind the DEMOCRATICLY held house and senate of the last 2 yrs)
The "inherited" excuse and the "cleaning up the mess" excuse to explain away his LIES is getting ridiculous. He KNEW the situation and said ONLY HE could fix it. He also promised to be different (that's why he was voted in over experience) but all he is is more of the same BS.
Oh, AND his approval ratings are lower (not by much but still lower ;) Than Bush's at the this point in his SECOND term! The entire country is NOT behind this man.
