  • my son laughed for the first time around 2 months. but laughter isn't one of those things that you can say "oh most babies start around...." it just happens. And some babies are more giggly than others.

  • my son was never a laugher - he's 17 months now but I think he really only belly laughed maybe afew times as an infant.

  • my daughter never really belly laughed, i dont know why and she still doesnt do it all the time, the only one who really ever made her belly laugh was her aunt bubba, (thats her nickname from my dd)

  • My nine month old daughter is the same way. She'll giggle every once in awhile. But rarely does she roar with laughter. Don't worry about it. If your little one was unhappy you would be hearing about it from him.

  • My Daughter is 5 months and I would say since she was 4 months she's been really cracking up like belly laughing.

  • My first only belly laughed on about 3 occasions, and luckily we got them on video because she was hilarious. She'd squeal and smile all the time, but never laughed much until she started getting the toddler sillies, around 18 months (now she laughs at her own jokes -- they're not funny). My second, on the other hand, started laughing her butt off on a daily basis around 6 months (I think she did it a few times around 5 months).

  • My baby girl started cracking up one morning around 4 in the morning..i woke up all worried and jumped out of bed to find her laughing at her mobile..she was close to 2 months..but she is a giggler(if that's a word) she laughs all the time now and she is 8 months...exclusively when she is sleepy she gets extra tickleish.
