  • Yes. Because most people assume you mean Oh My G**, even if YOU know that you mean Gosh (which in my opinion is the same) or goodness... like the Bible says- stay away from the "appearance of evil". God says not to take His name in vain so even if you are using it in in a slang/substitute way, IMO its the same thing... =]

  • Who cares! OMG! IMO God, Gosh, and Goodness are all TOTALLY different things. They are no where close to meaning the same thing.

  • In that belief system, YES. Also euphemisms like gee, gosh, golly, jeez, etc etc are as well - we all know that it's meant as a substitute for the words God or Jesus. That's widely understood by humans; I'm pretty sure that God figured it out.
