  • I think it has alot to do with the parents. Kids are kids and just that - they don't know to send Grandma a thank you letter....the parents should be having them do this.

  • yes I have to agree it is probably from their parents not inforcing the good old thank you .. and yes forcing them to write a thank you letter or card of some sort is more effort than they probably think it is worth making the kids do...

  • How old are they? Sometimes they don't realize they are being rude... but if they are older then they better say it!

  • Like the saying goes;charity begins at home. If they are not brought up to say thank you then they will not see the need to say thank you.I will advice you talk to their parents to see if they can inculcate that habbit in them. All the best.
