Contraction complaints!

Ok, so this is basically just me griping. lol.
I was due 4 days ago. Nothin'. Had an appointment yesterday morning. 2cm dialated, recorded contractions on the non stress test, but nothing serious enough to warrant going to the hospital. I'm still having them, but they're just not very strong.
They're inducing me Friday, if i don't have her by then. So, i don't know why I'm complaining. Just anxious and killing time, I guess.
Anyone have an amazing story about how they spent half the day with only little piddly contractions, but were in the hospital in active labor that evening? Haha. Make me smile, mamas!

  • Well I don't know that mine were piddly, but I had my first real contraction at about 9:30 am on Sept 8, 1993. I had them ALL day at regular intervals, they hurt, but were easily tolerated. But 1:30am they were 3-5 minutes apart and were really hurting. Hub and I got to the hospital around 3:45 am, and I had my son at 1:30pm on Sept 9

  • ...I wish I could! My water broke and I didn't contract for anything! Is this your first? I was in labor for 24 hours, they had to turn that crap that makes you contract up to full drip...hope it isn't that way this time. Try walking! A lot! I hear that makes contractions stronger or whatever!
