  • Are you talking about the goldfish crackers or a goldfish in a bowl?

We started with goldfish crackers at about 7-8 months.

We bought them their first goldfish last year when they were 4, 2 and 1. (unfortunately, it died shortly thereafter)

  • Id say a year as long as they have the chewing down. Give her one and see how she or he does and if they do okay they should be fine. They dissolve pretty good to.

  • The ones from the store? Never!! Have you read the ingredients? We buy Annies whole wheat bunnies cracker when I am lazy or we make goldfish crackers - let me know if you would like the recipe.
Remember that wheat and dairy are both allergy trigger foods and neither should be given to a baby under 1 year old.

  • At first I thought you were asking about pet goldfish, until I read the replies!

  • Mine had them at 10 or 11 months, I think. She loves them. She didn't even have teeth then! :) She loves the animal cookies too. Just make sure you watch them to see how well they chew.
