Has your child ever swallowed something?

My dd is 3 and yesterday she swallowed a pretend penny.

She was actually choking on it and then started coughing and it went down.

I was freaking out, I called the Dr, he said it would pass and to examine her poop for about a week. Lovely.

  • Yes, my daughter swallowed a penny a few months ago and choked on it. She also threw up from throat irritation while we were at a clinic that night to see if it was lodged.

    Scary, isn't it?

  • No, he hasn't swallowed anything, he just stuck things up his nose. LOL!!! His doctor told me, "What goes in must come out." It will come out in their BM, eventually.
