baby acne

are there any home remedy's or over the counter items that get rid of baby acne? He's got a bit of it on his cheeks but nothing to major to take him to the doctor and have them prescribe any wash or anything.

  • It all goes away on its own.
just wash his face during his bath and wipe up milk left on is face after feeding.
My son had it terrible when he was about 3 weeks old. Everyone would ask what was wrong with his face.
we took him to the doc and asked to be prescribed something and she said they don't prescribe anything for baby acne.
that its just their skin getting used to our environment and the stuff in the air.
you gotta remember they've been in a cozy, watery home the last nine months.

    it'll get better.

  • Babies usually get them in the places where they sweat like neck, chin, cheeks, or any wrinkle on a body... just wash your baby daily and keep those places dry...
