How old was your toddler when you first bought his/her first potty?

  • well i bought one for my son when he was 18 months, but used it like once or twice, then I threw it away. He didnt potty train till the day after his 3rd b-day, I took the diapers off and put the undies on. I never even considered a potty chair for my daughter.

  • She was 18 months (our doctor's idea, not mine); wore diapers until she was four (started reading and tying her shoes then, too)

  • I bought it at 12 months but she refused to sit on it until 27 months.

  • I bought dd her first one at 1 yr. She was potty trained at 18 months. Dd's was kind of girly so got ds one at 15 months and was potty trained at 2.

  • I bought DD's when she was 14 months. She started using it then but only occasionally, we will begin PT at 18 months.

  • I hate the baby potty chair. i bought the seat that goes on the toilet. I think when my first was 1 yr old. iread a book that it could be done.. I could not do it... My daughter did it herself about 2 and a half.
