Are there any Progressives?

If so, why do you call yourself Progressive?
Do you believe in a popular progressive principle of Eugenics and the ideals of solving social problems efficiently by treating the cause (bad heredity, poverty, etc) rather than the effect?

  • I am progressive.

I progressed from my childhood being raised by a single Mom with no help from daddy and no PA. I progressed to college where I worked full time and paid my own way to get my degree. I progressed from college to adult responsiblity where I married a like minded man and together we worked to prepare for a family. I progressed from being just a sahm to being a sahm with a successful small business.

All this progression with zero PA, zero abortions and zero debt.

I do not however wish to progress to give my hard earned money to others that won't do the same.

  • Hilary Clinton very emphatically declared that she is a Progressive more than a liberal. ...

And I hear this in political circles a lot.

(..."You keep using that word. ... I do not think it means what you THINK it means." ... )

I sure hope they are not intentionally aligning themselves with progressive politics (such as the "progressivism" which took over gov't education in the public schools ! ) ... Because real progressive politics is incredibly anti-liberty ...

  • Autodidact, did you read the link I posted? At the height of the Progressive Era (the era Hillary aligned herself with during the campaign), Eugenics was a popular economic concept embraced by many who are historically considered and have called themselves Progressive.

Also, I am reading this book for a class project War against the weak By Edwin Black
Also, Kargaret Sanger , a prominent Progressive (founder of Planned Parenthood) stated "The undeniably feeble-minded should, indeed, not only be discouraged but prevented from propagating their kind."

So, can you acutally answer this question?

    What a dork.

Perhaps Ms. Sanger and her ilk should kill themselves if they want to maintain any semblance of integrity.

    Stop propogating, Lib!
