could a playpen be a bed for a 14 month old

i have my baby sleeping in a playpen and i wanted to know if i was wrong

  • The support is not that great for their backs not to mention the risk of it collapsing or him tipping it. Its one thing if its nap time and your awake but its a personal choice if that is all you can use for now.

  • It is a tempoary solution. If it is all you room for than use it, or all you could afford use it. A crib is best.. more back support and stable for more mobile babies.

  • why would it be wrong? as long as its big enough than i don't see a problem with it. my daughter slept in one for awhile, we had a crib but she was in the room with us, and my family lived with us so she couldn't have her own room. when someone spent the night somewhere or went out of town, she slept in her pack n play in their room. that is what pack n plays are for, its a traveling crib basically
