Day 100

By day 100 isn't the incoming President supposed to have his new cabinet selected, approved by Congress, installed and up to date, ready to get down to business? How much longer do we have to "give him time"?

  • would you rather he just pick people off the street? if there's aren't that many good choices, what do you expect him to do?

Well, 64 million people picked a President "off the street" with no real experience, no real voting record, no real position/platform, except "Hope and Change." If it's good enough for the President, why isn't it good enough for a cabinet pick?! LOL
    ________

Talk to congress about that one. They are the ones holding up the process.

Ah, right, the LIBERAL DEMOCRATIC controlled Congress, holding things up for the LIBERAL DEMOCRATIC President, just like they held up the passing of the Stimulus package--for what 3 days? Just how many other bills/laws have zipped through The House at warp speed? I can't even keep up! The House approves/passes what it wants, when it wants to. They're too busy destroying this country on their own, they don't need no stinkin' cabinet members to help them do it!

  • No...pretty sure it's OBAMA'S crappy picks that are holding up the process, and notice no one answered the QUESTION.

It was HIS the moment he took the reigns.  He said HE and only HE could fix it.  HE knew the problem going in and spent MILLIONS trying to get the job.  He is only fixing what he SAID he could fix. And the fact that his cabinet isn't done is because he wants to load it down with left wing crazies that even his own party is questioning!

AND I thought he was supposed to be bi partisan.  He hasn't done a SINGLE bi partisan thing in the last 100 days.  And it's not the repubs fault, HE doesn't want to give an inch but expects THEM to give all.  How the H*LL is THAT compromise!?

  • It's called a filibuster, and don't worry - now that Spector has switched parties that won't really be an issue anymore.

  • If you think the problems are solely from the last 8 yrs you are an idiot.

  • All of the people who accept appointments to his Cabinet are misfits or radicals.

A carpenter can build a better cabinet faster than this moron.
