How to get a 2 year old to cover her mouth when coughing/sneezing?

I am one that is freaked out about the swine flu . I live in Indiana and there has been one account of it . My mom is a teacher and around kids ALL the time. I am being as safe as I can be but my 2 year old will NOT cover her mouth when she coughs or sneezes. She forgets which is very understandable at age 2 . ANy suggestions on how to help her remeber to cover her mouth?

  • Play pretend coughing and sneezing games.
Bribe her. If you see her covering her mouth, give her an M&M.

And remember, she should NOT use her hands. She should cough or sneeze into the inside of her elbow. If she uses her hands, she will then contaminate everything she touches on her way to the sink - including the faucet - assuming she remembers to wash her hands at all.
