Would you wear a used bathing suit?

Usually, no. But this summer we're really strapped for cash.

Someone gave me a REALLY nice one, i don't know if it's been worn or not. I have 2 old ones, but both are too small since I had my baby. And this new one fits really nice, and beats spending $40 for something I'll only wear for this summer. For me, I'm just gonna wash and sanitize it, because it's cute!!

So...would you wear a used bathing suit?

  • If someone I knew gave it to me. I would wash it thoroughly. Otherwise, I don't see any shame in it. Thrift is an underappreciated skill :)

  • Normally No.... but I understand being in a bind..... If you sanitize it, they you know it's sanitary and that would be fine.

  • its different i think if someone gives it to you, than say buying it from a thrift store, that is a little weird to me. my sister has given me bathing suits before...

  • I won't wear a new bathing suit, let alone a used one.

  • Totally different if I know the person it came from. A random suit from a garage sale or a stranger, no way Jose'
