How often do you sweep your floors? Do you mop every time?

I sweep every day. It feels so pointless, I have 2 dogs, a cat, four kids and DH... I feel like it never ends.

  • I have to sweep under and around the table after every meal. All other floors2-3 times a week. It just depends. Kitchen gets mopped every night. Other floors at least once a week.

  • I sweep and mop the floor about 4 times a day normally. If I have a ton of people then I usually just sweep it once or twice then really clean it once they leave.

  • I am lazy and work from home (which is why I am sitting on Cafe mom avoiding projects). I sweep (or make my 13 year old sweep) when there is something to be swept. I mop just about every weekend.

  • I sweep and mop the kitchen every day. The rest of the house gets swept every day and mopped about 3 times a week.
