  • Write down 365 reasons (for the days of your first year) that you are glad you married him. You can buy some inexpensive pretty paper and type it in a neat font and print it out...tie it together with ribbon. Sneak it into his briefcase or whatever he takes with him to work...then when he comes home, have a nice dinner prepared and be waiting in an apron with nothing on underneath. LOL

  • make him his favorite dinner, watch his favorite movie with him, get a bottle of wine and just hang out all day together when the kid(s) is in bed for the night make up a fun game and give him and extra gift. you can go on they have fun sex games and tons of positions to try.

  • If the gift is just for him, the give him really kinky sex. If it's one of those things you guys are doing together, then you can always find stuff to do online in your local area. Just look up your city or nearby cities. They should have a listing of cheap or free stuff to do. Congrats!

  • The traditional first anniversary present is paper-- I put a bunch of bows on me in strategic places-- you know that kind that you put on your presents-- and waited for him to get home! Very cheap, fun, and boy was he happy to unwrap his present!

    We were broke, too. :)

  • If you have a fireplace you can have a carpet picnic. Put out a blanket and get simple cheap foods that you both like, and just spend time with one another, enjoying each other's company! Congratulations!
