Hows your eyesight?

Mines pretty horrible. Plus, from wearing contacts for too long, I got a gnarly eye infection and a scratch right on my cornea. I wear glasses.
How about you?

  • I had very good eyesight until developing H.E.L.L.P. Syndrome with my last pregnancy. I lost my vision (it has returned) but my eyes were damaged from the extremely high BP. Now I have glasses with bifocals & I can't see at night, so I can't drive. I hate it!!

  • Mines not too bad. But, DH has infection in his eye do to contacts as well. Some contacts just cause infections and there is no stated reason why . As an optician I say he should switch to glasses full time. But, he is stuborn . Some day he'll tire of infections and see it my way. Glasses are just a much safer route unless your site is not bad. Me contacts are not an option. I just can't stick my finger in my eye. (lol)

  • Horrible. I have had glasses since I was 4 and contacts since I was 13 and have never gotten an infection from them. I am pretty much blind and see much better with contacts over my glasses. I only wear my glasses when my allergies are bothering me because my eyes get too itchy.

  • Mine is pretty bad. I had to get glasses in high school, but I couldn't stand them so I didn't wear them. About 10 years ago my husband took me to the eye doctor and he gave me glasses for reading, but I lost them. I just saw the eye doc last year at my husband's insistence and I now have a prescription for eye glasses that I'm supposed to wear at all times, including while driving. Guess who isn't wearing them right now...oops! I'm not telling DMV, though, because that's all I need is to forget them at home when I have to drive someplace and get pulled over for something and then get a ticket for not wearing them {sigh}.
I do wear them most times, though, because it is difficult to see. Right now I'm close enough to the screen to see with little difficulty.
