Tax question

I don't think they are taking out enough taxes out of my pay checks. I am clamming 0

Gross 932.00
Fed Income -25.17
Soc Sec -56.29
Medicare -13.16
Aflac -34.60

Does this sound like the right amount? please help me so I can tell my employer that they are messing me up or what not

  • The tax code just changed. That sounds about right for the reduced taxes.

  • It doesn't sound like enough, but then again, is this for an entire month? Is your income staying about the same as it did last year? How much did you have withheld last year? How many dependents do you have? Are you married? Theres just too many variables here to give you a complete answer. :)

  • i just ran the #'s thru my payroll system, SS and Medicare are ok, Federal seems to be a little low, I came up with $33

  • What payroll system are you using? I am married and have one child but I don't claim anything. I get paid twice a month
