If you were stuck on an island and you food supply ran out and the only way to survive was to eat your left hand would you do it?

As gross as it sounds I probably would.. If it meant i could live ... Besides many people onyl have one hand and do jsut fine, plus Im right handed.. lol

    And there is always a way to find food even if the food you brought is gone. Even a desert has food, according to one of those survival shows I saw on tv once (man vs wild or something like that).
    Otherwise, why bother cutting off a hand, risking hemorrhage, and then resorting to cannibalism? What happens when it is eaten and you become hungry again? Do you continue to cut off and eat various parts of your body? Ridiculous.
    I would rather die in dignity if I had no other option.
