Should I be concerned? He doesnt even have nubs in there or anything, is this an issues? How old do they have to be before I should worry?

  • Don't worry, each child is different, I got so worried about my first born because she had no teeth until she was over a year old, her teen did grow in beautifully, and she's lost her baby teeth on target and gained her adult teeth. I talked to doctors and dentist with my eldest child and they all said wait till they're over age two before you worry.

  • I have seen 12 month olds with no teeth, so, I wouldn't worry yet.

  • Some kids don't get teeth until they are over a year. I wouldn't worry about it at all... if there aren't teeth by 18 months then I might be worried.

  • I was over a year when I got my first. My brother was born six weeks early and got teeth at six weeks. He would have had teeth at birth if he had been born full term.
Babies are all different. Celebrate no teeth...those gummy smiles are too cute.

  • Worry about what... that he's never going to grow them on his own? No worries.... and baby can gum just about anything a toothy kid can eat...

  • One of my ten month old abies has one tooth, and his brother does not have any at all. My girls did not get teeth until about 8-9 months, I think my two yr old is still teething

  • EmilySusan---actually its funny you say that because yeah just the other day I thought to myself "OMG what if he never gets teeth" I know it sounds stupid now, but I guess I get overly paniced about things lol
