Have you used Mucinex or cough syrup to help you get pregnant?

I've heard that these can help you get pregnant. Has it worked for YOU?

  • When I was trying to get pregnant and it was too soon to begin fertility treatments, my doctor suggested I take Robitussin because it helps with your mucus...didn't work for me - would've been a lot easier that's for sure!

  • I have heard that it can help thin the mucus. I don't know how effective it is though.

  • I have heard of it (just so the women who think you are crazy know that it is not something new).
    My friends doctor recommended it to her. It thins your mucus, makes it easier for the little guys to swim through.

  • Actually, as odd as it makes scientific sense from the stand point that mucinex is guaifinisen. Guaf. helps to thin mucous and congestion so it is more easily cleared. It wouldn't just thin nasal would thin all secretions. Whether or not that would help you personally..I wouldn't know.
