I'm 8 weeks pregnant and just got morning sickness, is it morning sickness or the flu?

I have never got this sick until today... (tmi) threw up three times today! I'm getting worried because so far my whole pregnancy i havent gotten this sick, and ALL day. Is it common to not get morning sickness till your eighth week or should I call my doctor?

  • You can get morning sickness at any time during your pregnancy. if you have diarrhea on top of the vomit them call your doc. But yeah morning sickness can happen at any time.

  • This is a very normal time to begin morning sickness. make sure you keep hydrated. Call your doctor though if you begin to run a fever over 100.4 Congrats and best of luck to you :o)

  • I think it's pretty normal. My morning sickness (although relatively mild) started at about 7-8 weeks and was over by about 13 weeks. Good luck & Congrats!

  • I thought being pregnant was great the first 7 weeks. I thought morning sickness started at week 6. I felt great then. Week out. I actually do better in the morning but late afternoon-9pm is horrible. If you are concerned with the flu, call your dr.!!!!!!!!!!
