Propaganda, too much? Using the images of 9/11...

House GOP uses burning Pentagon from 9/11, handshake in video
But the new video has already created blowback from the Congressional Hispanic Caucus – whose meeting with Obama is also featured in the video – with one member of the caucus claiming use of the image is “racist.”

The video is part of a new offensive by Republicans, who are in the midst of a party rebranding effort, to question the Obama administration's national security policies.

The image of the Pentagon in flames on 9/11 appears for just an instant at 1:14 in the video, and it’s spliced with images of flag burning protesters and other violent footage from the Middle East. The video also flashes on a still photo of Obama meeting with the Congressional Hispanic Caucus – and the image is spliced in between the Chavez handshake and the flag burning.

  • Sounds like typical liberal rhetoric. They love to call everything racist to try to squelch the opposition. Weak.

  • I think it was propoganda to be snapping candids of Air Force 1 in front of buildings in Manhattan the other day, too. Anon :04 is right, they both use it equally. Nice try though.

To me this is crossing the line. The "photo op" was bad too, the FAA made a stupid decision... but this is geared to make people scared . To associate (again) President Obama with terrosists, and the attacks of 9/11. It is scare tactics ...That day was awful, to use it as propaganda is plain wrong.......

  • I honestly didnt think it had anything to do with associating Obama with terrorists. But you know, people are going to see and think what they want to.

  • It wasn't the FAA. They take orders from the WH. Caldera should pay with his job for the decision he made. Why the hell couldn't they accomplish the same thing with photoshop? Nope, instead it cost us over $300,000! While our president is practically bombarding us with the words 'economic crisis', his crew is out spending like there is no tomorrow. When there isn't money in the account, you don't go on a shopping spree for flip flops and beach towels. It was unneccessary, and that's stating it lightly.

Yes it was. They decided to keep it quiet.
