What should I get for my son, for his First Communion?

My sons First Communion is tomorrow. I'm not sure what to get him as a gift.
He already got a rosary from his Godmother, another one from the church and is getting a Bible from his other Godmother. I'm stuck on what we should get him.
I don't have much money to spend because we are throwing him a party and I'm sure he will get tons of religious gifts. Any ideas?

  • Maybe you could get him a nice bookmark for his bible?
You said money was tight and I bet you could find some very pretty ones with nice sayings at any religious store.

  • They have some really cute things at the Things Remembered Stores. They are a national chain so they might have one near you.

  • A childrens missilette. My boys loved them. it helps with the prayers and order of the mass. Something that is easy for them to follow.
