shake n bake

have any of you used the shake n bake extra crispy kind? is it anygood? and what did you cook with it? im trying to get dinner ideas! and i want fried chicken but i dont want to eat all the grease!! thanks for your help!

  • It's not bad. I dilute mine with a few cups of panko bread crumbs though.

  • panko bread crumbs are japanese style bread crumbs that have really no flavor. They have the same texture as the shake and bake. They work great for breading. You can find them where you get bread crumbs.

  • oven fry is a cheaper version of shake n bake so you should be able to get it next to the shake n bake. It does taste pretty good. I like it on pork chops.

  • I just use progresso Italian bread crumbs and then dip in eggs and milk. Never tried Shake N Bake
