  • It hurts, but, it can be overcome if you try. I didn't have an epidural, so, it can be done.

  • with my first it hurt when i had contractions even when i was pushing and i had an epidural with her. my second it hurt with the contractions, but once i got the epidural i didn't feel a thing after that i was achually laguhing at jokes while pushing. you will still feel pain because you will feel the contractions before you get the epidural

    LOL Those are the exact words my dr told me when I told him I couldn't do it anymore.
    As for the original question, yes it will hurt. I had a natural labor and delivery and it felt as if someone was ripping my body in half.
