  • I have 2 neices and 2 nephews. My oldest nephew couldn't say Heather so he called me Aunt Haha. So did my neice. Until my youngest nephew came along and he couldn't say Heather, Aunt Heather or Aunt now I am Tia to him. I like Tia. As long as my nephew ("The Poop Monkey") can say it, I'm cool with that.

Aunt Ama, instead of using your full name. But you could let the baby name you. That way your name has a "signature" to it and you'll always remember you got your name from the first grandbaby.

  • I've found they're going to come up with their own names for you! My son decided to call his aunt Kiki. He picked the names for our entire family although we'd been calling them other stuff they had picked out and wanted to be called. He calls my grandmother Ninny and my grandfather T-pa. I don't know lol and granny doesnt love being a Ninny but whatever lol
