How many times can you use aluminium trays in the oven ?

  • You mean the disposable kind? As often as it serves your purpose until they wear out or get torn.

  • AS long as you don't store tomato sauce in it, it should be fine to use over. Tomato sauce eats it and breaks the metal down. Not too healthy.

  • To add to the other poster...never put tomato anything in aluminum. It leaches into the food. The acid also discolors the pans. Stainless or glass is best. I avoid tomato in my cast iron..it just tastes funny..same reasons..iron leaches into the food.

  • I learned this the hard way. I covered pizza with aluminum foil, and it ate through the darn foil!
