We use frontline, but the only one you will find that will work with this magnitude is the one from the Vet. Its worth it, b/c if you get a flea infestation, you'll be working your tail off trying to get rid of them. Frontline is great. We take our dogs camping and in the woods and the ticks do get on them, but die. The same with fleas. Don't waste your money buying the one from Walmart.
