So are you all ready for the "My Mother's Day stunk so bad" posts?

I think Valentine's Day was pretty filled with those posts. I'm sure Mother's Day will be even worse. Hold on to your hats, ladies. LOL

  • My mother is dead so Mother's day just makes me miss her more. My husband doesn't believe in celebrating any holidays (valentines, birthday, anniversary, mother's day, christmas etc...) My daughter is non verbal and my son too young so it's just another day to me.

I think that ppl feel hurt when these things come up and they aren't even acknowledged so they create posts to vent about it rather than killing their SO or dh. Anyway if the posts bother you don't open them just like I don't open the my hubby got me this or we had such a nice diner, date etc.....

  • I don't need a gift to feel appreciated. Having my son with me is enough!

  • Yep, I'm not expecting anything. Just a kiss from my hubby and son will be fine, and get those every day. :)

  • Yeah,sure...bring 'em on! I can commiserate with the best of 'em..hubby is working yet another Mother's Day,especially since it coincides with the college graduation in our town. I'm just glad my daughter will be home with me.LOL,unless she decides she wants to go to a friends' house, that is.

  • My girls are too little and nobody has ever attempted to make it special for me. I have never gotten a card or anything. It is kind of sad to me and it makes me resent SO because I always try to make him feel special on Father's Day. lol...there, I'll start you out with the "pity party post"
