Is it okay for a 10 month old to eat macaroni and cheese?

I'm eating some leftovers and she wants some.

  • It's perfectly fine. Especially if it's homemade. If it's the boxed stuff, I'd limit it. I'm sure your child won't be eating it every single day for dinner so go for it. If you prepare it, I would use whole-grain pasta to make it even healthier.

  • If she is eating other table foods I think it would be fine...

  • I use skim milk and I don't add salt. She has had a couple of things, but she has no teeth, so it makes it hard to give her table foods.

  • yes especially if she is already used to table foods. I use whole milk or 2%, and if it's a powder I mix in cheddar cheese. my son looooves that stuff, especially when I add spinach

  • yeah! My dd love it and has been eating it since she was 7 or 8 months. Its good for them, with all the cheese, just make sure its mushy enough for her

  • Not the healthiest choice for anyone in the family. It's just butter, carbs, and powdered cheese. Maybe every once in awhile, but don't make a habit of it. It's not good for your body.
