I am in need of a new camera. The one we have now is okay, but it takes forever for the flash to "load" and it doesn't take good action shots.
With our first baby coming in August, I am wanting to get a new one, since I know that I will be taking TONS and TONS of pictures! And, it's not like I can pose the baby just so the camera I have now can load!!
So, what type of camera do mom's of infants/ young children have? Do they take good pictures?
(I want to spend no more than $300)

I bought olympus around $120. Most of the camera features are about the same When you pick a camera, make sure you feel comfortable about the button. . Here is a list of stores where you can check out your camera http://dollarise.com/view/stores/category/Electronics_and_Appliances
By the way, if you order online, you can receive cash back . Click the store's name for cash back details.

One more thing to add, once you start taking pictures using your new camera, if you ever want to print pictures, here are sites where you can get free photo prints when you open new account
20 free prints http://dollarise.com/view/deals/store/kodakgallery
50 free prints http://dollarise.com/view/deals/store/snapfish
& cash back for subsequent prints. This will save you 70 photo prints.
