  • Since when is some guy in his living room with a bunch of pennies and a video camera a credible source?
You need to lay off you tube and find a hobby.

  • Have you seen the movie Conspiracy Theory? You are on that same path. Save yourself. Take your meds.

  • It's a fairly accurate representation. It would be the equivalent of a family who was making 100,000 a year and found they would only have seventy thousand dollars, so they cut out one latte that year.

The math doesn't work. It's not as simple as just "cutting spending" though. Those budgets are already written and signed, he's got to to back and take all that pork back from the Congress. I don't think he'll do that.

  • I think he meant the "canadian conspiracy" thing as just a joke.

The rest is simple math...with a visual aid, like they do in grammar school with apples. Nothing crazy there.

  • A very good description for libs who just don't get it. But even simpler is the fact that
the government spends this same 100 billion EVERY 2 HOURS of every day
Still sounds like a big number by itself but when you think about it, being spend every day 24 hrs a day 7 days a week etc. it doesn't sound like that much anymore does it

  • 3,500,000,000,000-100,000,000=3,499,900,000,000 when you look at it that way the budget is out of control 1 hundred MILLION is a drop in the bucket compared to 3.5 TRILLION. 3.5 Trillion is 35,000x's 1 hundred Million. just a drop in the bucket. The human mind does have an issue with trying to figure out large numbers.
