We've tried: putting his hand in warm water; feeding him breast milk, formula milk, glucose water; putting him in the bathroom with the sink running; opening his diper to see if cold air will stimulate him; and gently palpatating his blader but nothing has worked...any ideas on how to get Theodore to pee? We really want to go home!Answer Question

Circumcision sometimes results in urinary retention with possible obstructive uropathy. Bandages used in ritual circumcision may cause urinary retention. The plastic ring portion of the Plastibell® may also cause urinary retention, which may result in a ruptured bladder,6renal failure, or interruption of circulation in the lower extremities. Urinary retention caused other complications that led to death in one reported case. Urinary retention is not seen in non-circumcised intact boys.

One, if you're planning on breastfeeding then please stop giving your little one anything but breast milk. You are going to set yourself up for failure
Two, you can't make a baby pee. You're just going to have to be patient.
