Question for Christians?

How do the Christians rip off the Hebrew Bible, only put 4 gospels out of hundreds in the NT, add the teachings of Paul and then say they are totally right and they will go to heaven?

  • I think it would help people better understand the relationship with Christ if all of the books were put in the Bible. I can't understand why they would want to leave some books out.

  • They do it with a lot of councils. These councils put the book together and then called it the bible. they did it in Greek and Latin in the early days.

    does that answer your question?

  • rip off the hebrew Bible? Its included as part of our Bible and the books that are left out are done so because thier validity is in question. Believe it or not, Christians do have a critieria and a standard for what goes into the Bible.

  • its not just the NT that has books left out of it. there are Jewish writings from before Christ that are not included in the Christian OT Bible. stuff like the Macabees. and the Gospel of Enoch (i think its a Gospel...cant remember). and i have read some of the books left out of the NT. many of them are questionable when you look into when they were written & by whom. but then im not a Christian who thinks the Bible's 100% perfect or all there is out there...so...yeah.

there are several interesting History Channel shows about the books left out of the OT & the NT.

  • Keep in mind the first Christians were originally Jews.

It took them a while before they let Gentiles join in.
