What is your idea of comfort food?

  • Oh my . . . where to even start. Many casseroles are comfort foods. I also think of things my mother used to make like Homemade pasta sauce and meatballs with locatelli cheese and fresh italian bread, Beef Burgundy, Swedish Meatballs, Taco Salad in the crockpot, London Broil with worcerstershire sauce . . . yeah, I'll stop here or I'll just keep going and going and going . . lol

  • Mine is Chili with cheddar cheese and onions on top! Corn bread on the side with honey.

  • A totada (not the healthy kind, the good greasy salty kind from the mexican bakery) with refried beans, cheese, salsa, avocado and sour cream.

  • Homemade mac and cheese. Pasta of any kind (I'm Italian, pasta is comfort, LOL). Mashed potatoes.

  • chow main, clam cakes, fried clams, dell's lemonade, malasada on sunday morning, Portuguese sweet bread, chowda , coffee milk, This just makes me hungry and home sick
