  • My son started at about 4 months, then refused it at 8 months. Now he's 10 1/2 months and still only eating finger food, but I give him a spoon to play with at meals.

  • Well my daughter learned quick with her two older siblings around, but now shes 18 years old and she reverted to eating only food she can eat with her fingers. Pizza, fries, burgers, chicken strips. So why do we work so hard, for what, lol?

  • I've been spoon-feeding my 10 month old since she was 6 months old. She still can't do it by herself yet.

  • I started spoon-feeding my sons around 4-6 months. By the time they were a year or so, they could feed themselves with a spoon, sloppily, of course!

  • My daughter started at about 3 1/2 months. It only took her one feeding to get the hang of it. And she feeds herself table food now at 10 months.
