  • Sounds like they should have had a different name from the beginning. I had heard about some countries not wanting our imports of meat and such because of the "swine". People who just go by the name and don't really understand the flu are going to be scared to eat pork now. So not only should it have a different name, people shouldn't be as ignorant about it either.

  • Well, considering a bunch of pigs in Canada came down with H1N1, I think a lot of people will continue to use the term swine flu.
