Currently playing Grunge and Metal to my unborn baby boy...

Did/do you play music to your unborn while in the womb?

I love doing it. Ecpecially feeling him kick when i play stuff for him.

So far, Nirvana, Pink Floyd, Slipknot, Metallica, NIN and Hole.

  • In the womb and now out my kids listen to metal or anything else we are listening too. They have heard it all....
    Oh and to the first replier- actually yeah I have dressed my kids in stuff from Hot Topic. I'm trying to find a Zeppelin shirt for DD from there :D

  • Hehehe, don't worry, I played a lot of heavy stuff for my daughter too.

    And you won't believe it, but she LOVES Spongebob, The Daily Show, and The Colbert Report, and she's only four months old. I swear it comes from my fiance and I watching those three shows every day when I was pregnant.

    Every little bit helps :D

  • I would rather have a son loving this music then the children/pre teen tripe they release. plus, its a shared interest instilled from even before he is born.

    If that works then i guess my boy will like american dad, Nip/Tuck and Frasier. haha.

  • Yeah, there's been studies done in SomewhereOrOther-istan that proved that babies remember stuff that's played to them in the womb. They also remember specific smells and tastes and stuff from what we eat when we're pregnant. It's all so fascinating.
