Is putting ice cubes in my son's 2% milk the same as..

giving him 1% or skim? should I stop? he really likes his milk ice cold.

  • It just waters it down and doesn't change the nutrional content, but by adding water he gets less milk so he isn't getting as much of the nutrients he would be getting if he drank it straight. i wouldn't worry about it if that is how he likes his milk then just let him have a little more milk during the day.

  • putting ice in it doesn't change the nutritional content just makes it watery. If he likes it like that keep doing it.
