Anyone else hate when their daughter looses a ear ring?

I wish there was a site where all the parents could put the one ear ring on. And we could find the match. My kid has lost earrings she never wore. I have so many one"s of sets. Driving me insane.. Im not throwing them away. Am I crazy...???

  • At this point, I would give up until she's older. why waste so much cash on something that isn't essential to her well being and that drives you nuts?

  • No, have you thought about getting the screw back earrings, they are a little more expensive, but worth every penny to save your sanity!

  • Thank god I don't have to worry about that. My son is enough to handle.

  • My daughter is actually pretty good about keeping her earrings, but I always buy silver anyway and never spend more than $10. The few times she had more expensive earrings including a gold pair I had custom made with her initials she did lose one. But I can't get too upset with her because I did the same thing as a child (and still do quite often lose my earrings.)

  • Yes I have tried all typed of back. Once she was holding a ear ring while I put her other one on and she threw it. I actually lost her ones a few weeks ago by accident i set them in a napkin and forgot. Guess got thrown away little dora ones. She threw cinderalla ones and I just got her mickey louse ones with my birthstone, Im scared to put em in. Iam gonna put on two back, one is a clear screw on. :(

  • Heck no! She's like me! Random ~ That is my style! My signature! I wear mismatched ear rings. Always one long dangly in one ear and a short dangly in the other. About 20 some yrs ago a Dr. friend found a really cool shell dangly on a beach in Kona and brought it back for me. She said I was the only person she knew who would appreciate getting 1 ear ring. PLUS ~ my friends give me their survivors! We love to mix and not match!
